Avengers 2 news and rumors

The official title for the second installment in the Avengers franchise is "The Avengers: Age of Ultron". For those of you who don't know who Ultron is, he is a robot created by Ant Man (member of the Avengers who gets his own movie late 2015) that is programmed to act as an extremely intelligent and powerful hero, but ends up betraying the Avengers and becomes one of their greatest foes. Since Ant Man won't get his own movie until a few months after Avengers 2, it is speculated that Iron Man may be the new creator of the mighty Ultron. The title "Age of Ultron" comes from a recent comic series, where Ultron defeats and kills a boat load of heroes, and a few of the survivors have to go back in time and kill Ant Man before he creates Ultron. Joss Whedon made it clear that Avengers 2 would be a lot darker and grittier than the previous film, but stated that it would be a different storyline than the comic series. Superman/Batman movie (Man of Steel sequel)

Everyone went into Comic Con expecting DC Comics to drop some news about the rumored Justice League film, but instead, they shattered and birthed a thousand more rumors with a quote, and a logo that would change the face of Comic Con 2013. A quote was read from the famous graphic novel, The Dark Knight Returns, with Batman saying, "I want you to remember, Clark... in all the years to come... in your most private moments... I want you to remember my hand... at your throat... I want you to remember...
The one man who beat you..
." and immediately the Superman/Batman logo was revealed on the screen, with the thundering sound of nerds roaring with pure excitement. It has been confirmed that director Zack Snyder of Man of Steel will be directing the sequel to the Superman franchise, along with returning actors such as Henry Cavill (Superman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), and many others. The logo that was debuted (photo at the bottom) had a different bat-logo than Christopher Nolan's universe, which proves in fact that this will not be the same Batman we know and love. So the question still remains: Who will play Batman? Christian Bale has said a thousand times that he has put away the cape and cowl for good, and according to this new information it appears to be 100% true. So the next possibility would be Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who evidentially became the new savior of Gotham at the end of The Dark Knight Rises, but this may not be true. Marvel has been eyeing JGL to star in a future Dr. Strange film, and DC would never agree to sharing him with their "arch-nemesis". The Lone Ranger's Armie Hammer has taken interest in the role, but there is still no telling who it could turn out to be. Who do you think would be the best actor for the job?
